I got a new Job!                                                                                                                        March 2021-December 2022
I've started a job as a photographer and editor for DGDG (Del Grande Dealer Group) which has taught me a lot. I photographed a lot of cars, and a lot of staff portraits. I also photographed and edited a variety of events at various locations, such as golf courses and hockey rinks. My personal business is taking off too, I've been doing weddings, engagement and maternity shoots, and some staff portraits for other companies besides DGDG. It's been a fun year and a half!

Hello and welcome to my  blog!                                                                                                                      May 5,  2021
I’m Libby and I grew up in the Bay Area, in California. My journey with photography has always been filled with passion. Even before I picked up a camera I loved photography, and would spend hours online learning about different photographers and photography styles.
Then when I turned 12, my mother got me a Canon DSLR as a Christmas present. I immediately set it up, and ran outside to experiment! I immediately knew I had found my creative outlet. I still show people some of those photos from my first day because they really laid the path for me and my photographic style. I’ve included some in this post!
From there I was the self appointed family photographer! I photographed everything: vacations, birthday parties, Christmas time. I took photos every chance I could take, especially animals (specifically birds), and my friends and family.
So when it came time to enroll in Colleges, art school just made sense. I was living in Colorado at the time, so I submitted an application to Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design after taking a tour of the campus. I was in love!
The classes I took at RMCAD fine tuned my skills, allowing me to improve myself and my artwork at every step of the way. Every single class prepared me to create the best work I possibly could. And I’m so excited to share that with you all!
I love what I do and I do what I love. I look forward to sharing more in the future!
